Prejela je študijsko nagrado ter izdala knjižico svojih del, posvečeno Vetru in Vodi (Water and the Wind).

Helena Van den Enden: Nature cleanses my thoughts, so none of it is disturbing.
Interview

Helena’s work is the result of communication between man and nature. Photos that arise spontaneously, so to speak, as a walking in meditation, present nature as the most sincere and unique work of art. The landscape is Helen’s studio with infinite choices and details which are photographed with an analogue camera and love for nature. Van den Enden defines her work as an exploration of Mother Natures Skin.
Helena Van den Enden is a young researcher of photography. In 2009 she has graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rotterdam, but have participated in numerous group exhibitions (Holland and the USA), gained the academic prize and issued a booklet of her work dedicated to the Water and the Wind. Her work is not only dedicated to the research of water and wind, but also to rocky surfaces in Spain and also to grassy surfaces of Dutch dunes. Here she finds a labyrinth of natural colours, compositions, textures and other artistic elements.
Walking meditation is a way of work or process that requires concentration and discipline: To be spontaneous, but at the same time faithful to one’s decisions, experiences and above all, to intuition. It is usually difficult to hear and understand its purpose. Walk with Helena, through the dunes of Wassenar gave an insight into her work, approach and a way of communication with nature.

Helena Van den Enden (1964 , Netherlands) studied photography at Fotoacademie in Rotterdam in the years 2006 – 2009. The topic of her photography is landscape: this is placed in the relative vicinity of the civilization, time of day in which photographs is taken is often evening light. Van den Enden photos are characterized in the pure aesthetics of the landscape in which she spends a certain period of time through the sensation of seeing it at an indefinite time before she captures a moment of photographs. In the perception of the landscape as a state of the work of art, Van den Enden belongs to the tradition of artists as for example James Benning.
